Looking For (LF) List
Christopher Rath
Over the past couple of years, I have had a growing list of things that I would like to acquire and that I either do not want to purchase new (because of their price) or are simply no longer available new. This page has been posted as an experiment of sorts: this page will become indexed by Google, AltaVista, and other search engines, and I am hopeful that sellers of these items will find this page in their search for a buyer.
The entries on this page have been modelled after Classified Ads, based upon the premise that search engines may treat Ads differently than other pages of text.
If there is some item below that you have for sale, please contact me by email.
Wanted: a used Radio Design Labs (RDL) FP-ALC2 Automatic Level Control (ALC); sometimes known as Automatic Volume Control (AVC). The FP-ALC2 is a two channel (stereo) module featuring phono jack inputs and outputs. A single user adjustment makes installation simple and efficient. The gain adjustment is set as high as possible with the loudest source without the input overload indicator flashing. No further adjustments are needed. Foreground as well as background sound systems fed from variable audio source levels, such as multiple CD changers or satellite receivers, benefit from consistent levels.
Wanted: a used external SCSI 5-1/4" (5.25") floppy disk drive. Such devices were once available new for use with Unix workstations (e.g., NeXTstation, SPARCstation, etc.).
